Of the reign of Queen Tamara,

Transcribed by a Russian antiquary;

 

I have written a touching account

Of my own death, which

I intend to circulate widely

In many conflicting versions;

 

I have falsified the records

Of the Church General Council

Of Milan in 2328, lessening

The role of Pope Anna-Maria III.

 

There is no end to people's

Appetite for what is not true

But could very easily be.

So will my inventions live.
