the soloist plays in a powerhouse
admiring each behalf like raw jewelry
sequestering in, telegraphing out

he rallies the unmanned ranks and slogans
with permanent ordainment for his dearest
reign, within his life of exits and alibis
 
he plays libertine absentee
in the forceps of statehood
the plutocrat in all-time catatonia
 
petitioning for his natural collateral
his sovereign placebo
his foreground
